Dell Precision M4800: Replacement keyboard not working

My “P” key stopped working on my Dell Precision M4800. I ordered THREE different replacement keyboards, one with exact same part numbers. None of the replacement kbds show up in BIOS or device mgr (as PS2). If I put the original kbd back in. It works and shows up in BIOS and device manager. Could the firmware be linked to a specific serial number? That would be rather stupid. Any ideas?

Dell Precision M4800: Fans not switching on after cleaning them?

I removed my fans to clean the inside of my laptop, after putting them back in they won't run. I can put them in but not all the way, but then they run at full speed permanently. I've tried changing the settings to passive and not active but still nothing has changed. The moment I switch my laptop on the fans run at max speed…I don't want them running at max. Please could someone assist me?

Dell Precision M4800: Repair Coverage Request For Dell Precision M4800.

Hello, I was wondering if anybody could provide a step by step set of repair guides for this device. Dell offers a full users manual with various types of repair instructions. I submitted the manual and think it would be beneficial to businesses that use these machines.
