My power supply "blew up" so I went onto eBay and got another, have fitted this one and the computer ran fine for 2 days but now it refuses to start, all I've got is a blinking amber light on the front and the monitor saying it's in Power Save Mode

I have Dell optiplex 990 with 4 GB of RAM. I bought more 4 GB to increase the RAM capacity. I bought same DDR3 RAM but after plugging in system won't start. With my old RAM its working but not working with new RAM. Just moving the fan and stops.

Shopkeeper has rechecked the new one RAM and that is working fine on other PC. What should i do?

The computer was shut down and the power turned off. When I turned the power back on the computer would no come on. Power cord is ok and has power up to back of machine.

It happend few days ago when i was playing games on my pc after downloading a complier for python and suddenly my game quit and a blue screen poped up with a long description the only thing i was able to read on that was first line"windows has detectef an error bluh bluh its shuting down"i got paniked and turned of circut board after few hours i turned it on again but it wasn't truning on i slowed that problem somehow but im not sure its solved or not so yesterday my frnd gave me advise to install a new window so i did it but now it happend again the screen poped up comp shut down but restarted perfectly now im worried plz help me!
