Dell Inspiron 580: HDMI port cannot be found on computer

My HDMI connection was working then all of a sudden it just stopped. Bought a new TV thinking it was the TV - wasn’t. Noticed my computer doesn’t show an HDMI port at all on my computer. How can I get this port back again? Tried running BIOS and having an error on that as well.

Dell Inspiron 580: Computer only runs on half RAM, beeps 4 times when has full ram sticks

I was doing work on my computer the other day, when suddenly the graphics card turned off inside the computer. i cleaned and reseated it and that got the computer to work. but then the processor fan started running faster than usual. i cleaned the processor and removed the factory thermal paste and applied a new bit. And now the ram sticks, or rather the ram slots, don’t work. 2 of them work, and 2 of them, when they have the ram sticks in them, make the computer produce 4 beeps. i had 8 gigs of ram, and it only runs on half of them.

Dell Inspiron 580: All sound is muted yet speakers have power

My Dell Inspiron 580 has "mute" on the task bar speaker icon and on every video requiring a speaker. All speakers have power from the computer and the dancing rainbow speakers dance rhythmically to unheard music. I must have a "mute" button pushed or checked but I cannot find it.

What should I do now?

Dell Inspiron 580: not turning on and beeping

Okay, my MIL gave me a Dell 580s tower with some important files. Didn't come with the original power cord, so I purchased one to try my best to retrieve the file. However, it's not booting, and it's not displaying anything. I tried the power button, but nothing. I can say that the power button blinks orange for HOURS, and it beeps 5 times every minute. The fans are operational, though. I still can't get it to boot up or power on. I don't see any damage on the board. There is a minimum amount of dust, but so far, I can't figure it out. HELP!

Dell Inspiron 580: Inspiron i5 graphics Card upgrade

So as of now, my GPU is slowly dying, as it has started to artifact when undergoing somewhat heavy programs (Half life 2/ garry’s mod). I currently have an nVidia GeForce GT 220, and I was wondering, what would be the most powerful GPU I can put in here? I was looking at possibly an nVidia GeForce GTX 1080Ti but i don’t know if that’ll work

Dell Inspiron 580: Rhythmic whirring sound from my Dell Inspiron

I am getting a rhythmic whirring sound from my computer; a fan I'd assume. It occurs very regularly (about once every 10 seconds). You hear the fan ramp up and ramp down for about a second, followed by 8 seconds of quiet, just to repeat.

I don't have a CD/DVD in the drive. It doesn't matter whether I'm using the computer or it's sitting idle. I figured I'd pull it out, open the case and listen. Hopefully what to replace will be obvious, but I'm looking for any insight first.

Dell Inspiron 580: Possible Cooling system modifications

Is it possible to upgrade the CPU From an i5 to anything more powerful? or maybe a CPU cooler like a watercooled system or an ice cooled system? Also anybody have any GPU upgrade options, as the GPU in there is an aging geforce gt 220. Looking for kind of an internal overhaul without having to go to windows 10.
