Dell Inspiron 531: Installing Windows 10 from windows vista

I have a Dell Inspiron 531, we have been using it for years, however over the last couple of years we have not used it. It has windows vista installed I am wanting to upgrade it to Windows 10. So I took a hard drive that had windows 10 on it and installed just to make sure everything would work with the hardware and all. Everything did work just fine.

I have downloaded the windows 10 iso and I have a windows 10 product key that I can use for it. I created the dvd to install it with however the computer will not boot with the dvd. I created it on a different computer and with the one I am wanting to upgrade. Every time I try to boot from dvd it says there is no boot device available. There is no potions in bios to boot from usb. any ideas on how to get this to work?

Dell Inspiron 531: Inspiron turns on, but does not display

When I turn it on, the light is a steady amber with no beeps. However, the operating system does not boot even when the cables are secure. I think that it is an issue with the power supply or the motherboard, but I'm not sure. If it helps, I have Ubuntu version Noble Numbat. I have successfully booted Ubuntu before, but one day it randomly stopped working

My older computer (used as a file server) was next to my washer that was leaking. Its a little room. barley enough for that all. I had the computer laying mobo down. There was a big leak that was spewing water "Conveniently" right into the back. The board has massive spots of blue everywhere. Need to get this system running asap. Thanks!
