Dell Inspiron 5100 PP07L: How do I access files from HDD?

My Dell Inspiron 5150 laptop was damaged and I salvaged my hard drive from it. I need to access my files and information from its hard drive but don’t know how to do it? I’ve read this as a possible suggestion:

To recover the data, purchase a 2.5" EIDE (NOT SATA) USB 2.0 enclosure and mount the drive into it. Attach it to a working system by USB and copy your data files to the host system's hard drive.

I’m using a Razer Blade 15 computer with access to two USB 3.0 ports. The HDD from the Dell Inspiron 5150 looks to have a 22 pin (only) interface connection (See below photos)? The recommendation above simply doesn’t work because of the type of connection I have to my HDD.

Update (12/13/2020)

This is how I am setup.

This is the bottom view (notice the 2 pins not plugged in and connected); I hope I have it connected correctly and that the 2 pins not connected aren't the reason why I can't access or read the drive?

Here is the error message I am getting trying to open the HDD that is connected.

Dell Inspiron 5100 PP07L: The part of the laptop where the charger is broken?

The laptop charter/where the charger goes got all messed up. Despite this, the laptop still works. (Can't turn on obviously, but it would if it could be charged.) Should I have the laptop repaired? Or should I have the hard drive removed? IF I can get the laptop repaired how should I go about doing this in the most cost effective way?

Dell Inspiron 5100 Series: The WiFi range on my laptop is poor.

Hey guys,

I couldn't exactly find my exact laptop on here but it's the Dell Inspiron 5547 .

A few weeks ago, I noticed as I moved away from my WiFi router, I would lose my WiFi connection. I restarted the modem , forgot the WiFi on my laptop, tried to reconnect, the whole jazz, but the issue persisted. I ignored it as It wasn't a big deal at the time.

Now I've moved to a new house, have a new WiFi provider and yet the issue is still there. I suspect it has something to do with the laptop rather than my modem. I'm not sure how to go from here whether I have to buy one of those USB WiFi receivers or send it to repair (I apologize for my lack of knowledge as I'm not really an expert when it comes to tech situations). I am completely fine buying anything that can solve this issue but before that I'd like to know from this community if I'm missing something here.

Any help will be appreciated.
