Dell Inspiron 1750: sometimes goes blank when I move the lid

when I change the position of the screen by movement of the hinges the screen will go black at some positions. When I move it back to where it was, the screen comes back on

Dell Inspiron 1750: Laptop won't boot

Hi
I just received a Dell Inspiron 1750 from 2008
It turns on, but is stuck at an error screen upon boot (see attatched image)
It says press F1 to continue, but pressing F1 just makes a beep sound
How do I fix it?
Also, it has 4GB RAM installed, I want to know if it supports 8GB or higher

My Dell inspiron 1750 is having issues it won't start up when the power is on it either shuts off after it turns on or it stays on than the screen stays off And the laptops BEEPS 7 short times as Nd it's continuous keeps going on please Answer please help
