Dell Inspiron 16 Plus 7620: Plastic frame peeled off of screen front

Somehow my laptop overheated (book was on top) and now the right side of the frame is bowed and peeled off. The hinges appear to be intact but opening and closing my laptop is not doable without fear that I will damage it further. I would like to do the repairs myself and any guidance would be very much appreciated.
