Dell Inspiron 15 5565: Could my Dell Inspiron 15 5565 function with out its battery?

My laptop isn’t charging even after I’ve already replaced the AC/DC power adapter jack. I could be wrong but the problem might be in the battery. My laptop is 1 year old and I use my laptop constantly while its charging.

I’m wondering if my laptop could run without its battery, while only plugging it to the power supply adapter?

Dell Inspiron 15 5565: There is a black screen after logging in to my Laptop.

When i load up my Dell Inspiron 15 5505 it comes up with the normal welcme and sign in page but once i log in it says Welcome and starts to load to the Windows screen but it takes longer than usual. It then comes up with a black screen and i can see only my cursor. After 3-5 mins it just goes back to normal. Why is this happening because it has been less than a year since i bought this laptop. I even updated the drivers but this issue is still here. Im not sure if it will help but when it first started i had an update available so i did the update and the issue still persists. Please help me.

Dell Inspiron 15 5565: Laptop doesn't power on

Opened my laptop to clean out the fan. After I reassembled it, it worked fine, but I realized it was not charging. I took it apart again and realized that i forgot to re connect the adapter port to the mother board. I reconnected it and reassembled and now the laptop will not power on. Nothing happens when I press the power button.
