Hi, my name is vikrant. I have dell inspiron 15 7537 laptop.

Accidentally that laptops one side display hing is broken. I called

dell customer support for that but they said display and hing are

fused together so if you have to change hing you have to buy all the

display assembly. After that I searched on Internet for solution but

nothing helped me out. So if anyone knows how to change the display hing of dell inspiron 15 7537 please help me out.

When I am at my home my computer says that I am connected to the internet, but the connection is extremely slow. I have tried resetting the router and moving about three feet away, but neither method has worked. My other devices have a strong connection. What should I do?

I have a Dell Inspiron 15-7537 with a touch screen. the entire screen shows tiny dots (for lack of technical term). Connecting an external display works and looks perfect so I know its not the video card. The dots show on boot up too. I can press to the left of the dell logo on the screen and it gets a little better. Im thinking maybe its a bad cable or loose cable at the inverter (given that the inverter is behind the dell logo). I can't find anywhere on the net where it explains how to disassemble just the lcd screen or if its even possible. It doesn't have a plastic bezel like many windows pcs. the screen assembly looks more like whats on a macbook pro. anyone know

1. what may cause these dots and how to fix it? or

2. how to get in to just replace the touchscreen digitalized or lcd inverter?

i was on UEFI mode on my laptop and i did changed it to bios mode:

after that i cannot get into bios :(

also tried let battery drain until 9% and tried to enter to bios no luck :(

currently i'm on A13 bios version

Hello everyone. I got a Dell inspiron 15-7537 with a webcam that won't work.

Till now the driver is not in the system which is Windows 8. I looked over Dell website but the driver is not available.

Dell Inspiron 15-7537: Why can't I boot into any operating system besides windows?

I am currently trying to run bazzite on my Dell Inspiron however it won't boot from the usb and only will boot windows from the HDD. All it does when I try to boot the usb outside of secure boot is just give me a backlit black screen. Hope someone knows what's going on here because I have no clue

Dell Inspiron 15-7537: No Display, No BIOS got messed up trying to install linux with win 10

Hi Guys,

Let me better describe the situation here. It's an old dell inspiron 15 7537. The hinge of the display was broken long time ago, so i removed it and was happily using it as a dekstop with external monitor, keyboard and a mouse.

As the disaply was removed it use to beep everytime it starts, but everything was fine and i was running windows 10 with secure boot option i think.

One fine day i decided to install linux mint along side with the win 10 using a pen drive and totally messed up i guess with UEFI and legacy mode confusion.

Now all i wanted to access is the BIOS so i can use a pendrive to boot and install either linux or windows from sratch as data in hdd is not a concern for me.

Tried below:

Removed CMOS battery for few min put it back and turn on.
Removed CMOS battery and turn on.
Removed battery and hdd and tried directly with dc power.
Keeping power button pressed for long time.

All the scenario result in same that is when i press a power button all lights trun on including cpu and hdd , cpu fan starts spinning with beep, but there is no signal to my monitor and pressing F2 or F10 simply reboots the device.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi team! I left my laptop at the office and some jerk dropped it! The matter is that it was connected to a short Ethernet cable and my jack ripped of as it fell down! Thankfully the laptop is working absolutely fine but is there a way to just change the Ethernet port or do I need to replace the entire mother board!

I have got inspiron 7537 with NVDIA 2GB GeForce card. I accidentally spilled liquid over my laptop and now have to change the motherboard. Is this NVDIA card mounted onto motherboard somewhere ? Can it be transferred to new motherboard or I'll have to buy the entire new assembly including the graphics card?

Hey I am experiencing some issues with my laptop that when I plug/unplug stuff from the left hand side USB port the computer completely shuts off. This happened once from a USB DVD drive and the system was non responsive for a few hours, and it just happened to me now but the laptop booted right back up this time. I use this for school and keep my stuff on a thumb drive that I probably plug/unplug in every day now. What would be my best options now? By the way the thumb drive was hot to touch.

For some weird reason, my 7537 came with 6GB of RAM. Do you think I can upgrade it to 8GBx2 = 16GBs of rum? Is there any DDR or BUS limitations?

Also, mine came with a 500GB 5400RPM HDD. Do you think installing a 7200RPM will be a problem? What about hybrid SSHD? Will that be a problem?

Dell Inspiron 15-7537: Why my laptop doesn't start? The led remain even off...

Two weeks after the end of the guarantee, my laptop refused to start (while I was using it normally few hours before)

Refuse to start means : nothing... really nothing... not even the power leds.

I tried of course to press the power button a while to empty the electricity...

noting..,

I have disassembled the laptop, I have removed the battery and CMOS battery. And, when I plug the cable, I see one led flashing once very fast

HELP!!!!
