Dell Inspiron 15-5558: Why does my laptop go to a black screen after automatic repair?

Greetings guys!

I have a Dell Inspiron 15-5558, which I've owned for a few years now with no issues. About a month or so ago, the laptop began going into automatic repair mode, followed by a blank screen that proceeds to nothing else. I ran the diagnostic tool, which yielded one error in relation to my laptop charger. I just got a replacement, but the issue still persists. I tried booking in legacy with secure boot off, which only seems to net a small amount of progress. With secure boot off, the laptop boots past the Dell logo, then proceeds to show the Windows logo with the loading dots near the bottom of the screen. Afterwards, it also goes to a blank/black screen with nothing else following.

At this point, I'm not entirely sure what could be the issue, I've seen it around the web, perhaps it has something to do with the OS? I ran the diagnostic tool over again, and this time the only error I got was in relation to my battery, which stated that my battery is nearing the end of it's operational life. Could it be possible for the battery to cause this boot issue, or does it pertain to something else?

I even tried booting the laptop with the battery removed, but for some reason, that tells me that there's no boot device installed. I guess it's some sort of safety feature? Can't boot the laptop while it's only powered by the charger?

At this point, I honestly do not know what the issue is, and any answers are greatly appreciated, I've reached my wits end.

Kind regards!

Dell Inspiron 15-5558: Can I just turn off my internal speaker?

My laptop's been beeping 5 short times whenever I turn it on for the last three years, and I've changed the CMOS battery, but it didn't fix it. Everything works perfectly, and while I'm using the computer there are no beeps, just when it boots and sometimes when the lid is closed and I open it.
I can't take it anymore, I can't turn on my laptop at night or take it anywhere because the beeps are so loud. Can I just disconnect my internal speakers? Are there any big consequences from that?

Dell Inspiron 15-5558: My Laptop goes to sleep mode abruptly unprompted

I have been using this laptop since 4 years now. This problem persists right from beginning that is when the laptop was even under warrantee i had gone to dell service center and they couldn’t trace the problem infact did not come across this problem “as they claimed". Lets say the laptop was fully charged in off mode. Since i always used Microsoft Excel, I have now observed that it goes in sleep mode without any notification on screen even when the laptop’s battery is 80% or 67%. Then i keep pressing the space bar key or even power key to turn back the screen on, once the screen is on I am prompted to insert my password etc and then I am back to my work, but its really annoying that the screen would just go blank on your face while you are working. I have also observed that this problem occurs when i would put my laptop on charging that is when the screen is on and i see that the battery might die and I put it on the charging, the laptop would again go in sleep mode. I keep saying sleep mode as i always hear the fan running. I have also noticed one thing that the laptop goes in sleep mode at specific percentage of the battery life shown on battery bar specially at 18% or 67% or 87 or so. I remember intially when this laptop was purchased I was given an option for free upgrade to Windows 11( I guess), during that time the problem wasn’t there but some problem occured with the Windows registration key and I had to roll back to Windows 8 (which I hate the most). Please advice the solution. I have replaced power socket on this laptop once. I have changed the keyboard twice till date. The hard disk was cloned and replaced with SSD as the old hard disk had exhausted its life and the laptop was running very slow. There was a problem with the power key button also which was some how repaired and its working fine now.The battery has also been replaced once with new genuine one and that rules out if the problem was with the battery. Its adaptor also has been changed so that rules out if its providing unstable power supply to charge battery or run laptop that its spoiling everything that is replaced.I have many times paired my laptop with my TV wirelessly and watched live sports etc this thing doesnt happen but it has been noted if we work on Excel strange !. Your solution will be of utmost help to my missery with such an annoying problem.

Dell Inspiron 15-5558: The HS code of the tools that I need to repair my laptop

I have a old Dell Inspiron 15-5558 that I got from my grandpa. I entered the Service Tag number to the Dell support Web page. From there, I found the repair manual for this laptop.

I am going to do a camera Replacement and a RAM upgrade.

For my specific repair, the manual says I will need a screwdriver (#0 something) and a plastic spudger. I can secure myself a screwdriver but I need an spudger.

Service Manual from Dell: https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/...

So I am thinking to buy a Ifixit spudger.

So if any of you wonderful Ifixers can find the HS code of the spudger, I would be grateful…
