Dell Inspiron 1440: Laptop does has sound /internet connection issues after each update. W

New laptop, lightly used. Has issues after every update. First two or three were about drivers for sound-headphones and external speakers affected. Last one meant that I could not access the internet. Dell support have been singularly unhelpful. I finally did a factory reset and have it now working. How do folk advise me to proceed in order to avoid future issues? Can I get rid of Microsoft Edge without causing a problem?

Dell Inspiron 1440: When power on the laptop, screen is black and Beeps two times

My laptop was working fine but recently when I tried on switch on, dislay does not work. All the lights starts and also DVD room gives the voice but nothing on LCD. After some time it beeps two times. Tried to connect with some other monitor still it does not work. So I concluded that it's not the problem with LCD.

Kindly suggest any thing that what's the problem and what can I do for the fix.

Dell Inspiron 1440: Replacing touchpad connecting ffc cable

My touchpad connector ribbon cable to the motherboard is broken. What type of ribbon cable is needed to replace it? How many pins, what type- same or reverse, length. It would be a great help if anyone could answer. Thanks

Dell Inspiron 1440: Fix for FFXIV Unable to Download Patch Files

I did the little I could to solve the problem but the error message continued popping up. I tried troubleshooting but it didn't help. I cannot understand what went wrong. This happened while I was updating my windows 10. For the same, I even disabled all the services. Thanks.
