My laptop stopped charging recently. It works when plugged in but says "1%, not charging. Power mode (plugged in)." My first response was buying a new charger but the same thing happened. So I thought it must be the power jack. I ordered one on ebay and replaced it today. But the same thing happened - 1%, not charging...help! What else could it be?

I asked my brother and he said it needed windows 7 but I don't know how to do that. He gave me a flash drive with windows on it but it doesn't do anything . Can you guys help me !
