Dells new pens don't support this device (PN556W) and the only one that does is the 750 AAGN active pen, I think it uses synaptics pen something does wacom or another third party manufacturer make a compatible version?

Dell Inspiron 13-7352: DC power Jack on motherboard replacement possible?

Hello, I have a refurbished dell 13 7000 series laptop. Therefore it does not have a service tag sticker on the bottom. My problem(s) is the DC power Jack/receptacle broke off the Motherboard when I attempted to plug in a new replacement DC short cable. The Jack off the MB went into outer space somewhere to be never found.

Can I order a replacement DC MB Jack receptacle and solder it in the place of the missing one? If so do you know where I can purchase one? Or can I cut the plug off the Jack cable and solder the wires straight to the MB? If so where can I find the position placement of each wire? Does the DC MB Jack have pin holes where to desolder, drop in replacement Jack then resolder?

If not then can the Jack cable end be cut off and solder the wires straight to the top of the MB? There is very little space between the pin positions on the MB in relation to each other so from top would be impossible for a shaky hand like mine. Maybe electric contact glue? I fear the distance between the pins on the MB will not allow any type of repair from the top side.

I ordered two used MB’s from eBay and both were defective, one video, one keyboard so I am sorta shy to try again. Being a disabled senior on a very limited income I can’t afford a new MB or the $129 + ones. I had to save to buy the Jack cord and a new battery now the battery is down and no way to charge it. I hope it is still good but if not I will use the laptop on AC and save up for another battery.

I spent quite sometime in the hospital and finally came home and after a period of time gained enough strength to tackle this endeavor. The laptop worked fine until the Jack broke off so the Jack and possibly another battery and I am good to go.

Dell Inspiron 13-7352: Black screen after sleepmode

Hey,

Since recently I get a black screen when I open my laptop or get it out of sleepmode. A short period of time it’s white with triangles or something. You hear the laptop running but I can’t do anything.

If I shut it down with the on/off button and restart it. Then there is no problem nor my laptop notices a problem.

So I don’t know what to do and it’s pretty annoying to restart the laptop almost everytime it comes out of sleepmode. It doesn’t really matter how long it is in sleepmode nor if you move it or not. It happens randomly.

Dell Inspiron 13-7352: Why can't I reset my laptop?

So, I tried to reset my laptop but it hanged and I shut it down. After a few days and then weeks the blue screen was the only visible one. Worst of all, when I try to reset it it says there's a problem with it. Please help.

And yes, maybe a virus came with the windows 10 pro code activation.

Dell Inspiron 13-7352: Why isn't my screen rotating when I go into tablet mode?

Basically, I sent the laptop to Dell to fix my screen issues. When I got it back, my tent mode won't deactivate the keyboard, and tablet mode won't rotate except for the default rotation. This is bothersome for a college student as I love this thing for taking notes.

Dell Inspiron 13-7352: Trackpad clicking is hard sometimes

My Dell 7352 trackpad works fine but sometimes the right clicker does require hard click and it seems like something is stuck beneath it. When I blow air it gets fine but soon gets the same problem. I am sure that there is something stuck but I don't know how can I clean or take it out as there is near to zero space around the trackpad.

I broke the LCD on my Dell Inspiron 13-7352 and went to replace it and noticed it was glued to the screen. How do I carefully remove the LCD so that is doesn't scratch the screen? How do you get rid of this glue? Also where will I get glue to put my new LCD back on?
