Dell G7 7590: My G7 is damped and can't be turned on

my laptop is damped in my backpack in a heavy rain. I don't think it was water damaged though. When I try to turn it on, my keyboard would light up and the laptop then shuts down. It happened yesterday and today I opened the back of it trying to let it dry. Is there still chances of fixing it? It's fairly new and shipping it all the way to factory is really expensive.
