Dell G15-5510 Gaming: How can you tell if it broke down?

The other day, while I was taking my laptop to university, some liquid spilled on it. I didn't notice and turned it on, but it was too late; the laptop wouldn't turn on anymore. Now I don't know what to do to fix it because some people tell me it's the CPU, others say the power supply, and I don't know how to figure out what's wrong or how to fix it.

Dell G15 5000 Series: Dell G15 5520 system locks up when alt-tabbing out of Minecraft

So... It does this sometimes on random, but most of them are when I'm alt-tabbing from minecraft. The whole Laptop freezes, and showes colorful pixels all over the screen. The keyboard and mouse are completly unresponsive. The only thing I can do is to press and hold the power button for 10 seconds. What can be the cause?

The specs are:

Gforce RTX 3060

Intel core i7 12XXXX

32GB ram

Windows 11

Event log - look 22 june 2026 (last crash)

Dell G15-5515: Half of my keyboard not working. Tips for repairing?

So the bottom row of my laptop's keyboard is completely unresponsive. Actually the spacebar still works but I have to press really hard and press it multiple times. I have no idea why it's not working because there hasn't been any liquid damage. I thought the battery was bad (and it was, like only 60% battery health) so I replaced it. But the issue still hasn't been fixed. I'm fine with using an external keyboard, but I'd still like some tips/guide on replacing my keyboard. I saw on YouTube that they were soldering it in and I really hope I don't need to solder it.

Thank you!!

Dell G15-5511 Gaming: Storage space low for no reason

I recently got a Dell G15 5520 that's running Windows 11 with a Core i7-12700H 16 GB memory, and I use it for both gaming and research, because my old one was excruciatingly slow. I haven't had it for a month and the disk space is already low, even though last night I checked it, and it was 227 GB of 453 GB free. Now it's 56 GB of 453 GB free! I ran both defragment and disk cleanup, neither worked. Settings say temporary files are taking up 212 GB, installed apps 65 GB, and other 34 GB. But when I go into temporary files, it only shows 24 GB of stuff, including the downloads folder. I'm Starting to think it's an unfixable virus or something, because my antiviruses WOULD NOT detect anything (I have both McAfee LiveSafe and Malwarebytes Premium). Soon I'll just put all the stuff I care about on a hard drive and factory reset the thing. Please help soon! 🙏🙏🙏

Dell G15 5000 Series: Why won’t my laptop turn on?

After the first two years, my laptop sometimes would just stay at low battery while charging. Since it is a gaming laptop, I would leave it plugged in most of the time. Only when I would use it without it being plugged in and then charge it, it would charge fully. Now it won’t even boot. Or start up. I tore off the back cover but the battery doesn’t look swollen or bad. I can’t really see the battery health because my Laptop won’t post. My power adapter is working and the pin inside barrel connector is not bent or corroded. I think the issue is either the female barrel connector in laptop or the battery. Can anyone help me determine which it is?

Dell G15-5515: Water Damage, still usable!

Every since I got some water damage on my laptop, the GPU is no longer detected. If you push on the righ part of the case of the laptop, you can cause a short and immediate black screen shutdown. The laptop still works amazing for CPU only tasks and even mild gaming, the battery life obviosuly improved with no GPU😂

I've been living with this for around 6 months and now I'm becoming interested in troubleshoot the MOBO and soldering if needed to fix my laptop! any reccomendations?
