Dell U2718Q: Monitor powers on, but only displays black backlit image.

Hi,
My monitor was working perfectly fine yesterday until out of nowhere in the middle of using it, I started getting image distortion and white lines running down the screen. (similar to the image in this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/Dell/comments/u...)
I tried restarting my computer but now my monitor just boots to a backlit grayish black screen with a single black line fainting flickering in the middle, eventually the screen completely fades out every time. I have tried swapping out both the hdmi and power cables, as well as trying it on various computers, but the result is still the same: power booting to a black screen that eventually fades out.

I assume this is a hardware issue with the monitor, it's just strange because there was no physical damage done, it just suddenly stopped working.

What part could be the issue, and is it replaceable?

Dell Display: Dell U2414H Has horizontal lines (like an old CRT)

Hello!!!

I have a U2414H monitor from Dell, that shows horizontal lines like old CRT monitors, I changed cables (DirectPort - HDMI - Power), tested on another PC and laptop, same lines, run all tests and resets as Dell provided from their support, same problem. When I do the color test I see that the lines appear only when dark colors are present, like blue, black, purple, but if one of these colors appear to the screen even as a simple rectangle icon then the whole screen has those lines appear.

Any ideas on how to fix this or at least identify the faulty piece?

Dell U2518D: Fix monitor strobing with vertical lines Dell U2518D

Hi all,

I dumpster dived a 1440p Dell U2518D screen the other day and figured I'd take a crack at fixing whatever issues it may have. I powered it up to find that even with no signal input the screen flashes rapidly when turned on and has vertical lines across it. I disassembled the monitor and took pictures of the 3 circuit boards inside it along the way.

The three circuit boards are labeled "power board l6256-1m", "LED Driver BD L6257-1". and "Interface Board L6127-1". if anyone has schematics for any of them it would be much appreciated.

I couldn't find any obvious visual signs of damage (anything burned or brown, bulging capacitors) when inspecting the components on the board, but took many pictures of the boards in case anyone could see something I couldn't.

I made an album on google photos here, as well as a video of the problematic behavior of the monitor. STROBING LIGHT WARNING: if you have any issues with strobing images or flashing, be aware that the problem displayed in the video is quite striking.

I have a multimeter and a soldering iron, and am willing to test voltages and such. Please let me know if you have any suggestions of what the issue might be, or if you need any additional photos of any particular area.

Here are a few of the pictures and videos. There are more in this linked album

Dell Monitor E2310H: Dell E2316h bad PSU or main board?

Good day I have a Dell E2316h that starts flickering after a few hours of use for the day. After a few hours the screen starts to flicker and jump. Could it be the mainboad or the PSU? I would like to know so I can order the part and not buy the wrong part. I have uploaded a video of the monitor flicking. The monitor also flickers alot when there is alot of movement on the screen which brings me to believe that it could be the mainboard. I am not sure and I have found both part on the internet but I want to buy the right parts without wasting my money.
