Dell U2718Q: Monitor powers on, but only displays black backlit image.

Hi,
My monitor was working perfectly fine yesterday until out of nowhere in the middle of using it, I started getting image distortion and white lines running down the screen. (similar to the image in this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/Dell/comments/u...)
I tried restarting my computer but now my monitor just boots to a backlit grayish black screen with a single black line fainting flickering in the middle, eventually the screen completely fades out every time. I have tried swapping out both the hdmi and power cables, as well as trying it on various computers, but the result is still the same: power booting to a black screen that eventually fades out.

I assume this is a hardware issue with the monitor, it's just strange because there was no physical damage done, it just suddenly stopped working.

What part could be the issue, and is it replaceable?

Dell Display: Dell U2414H Has horizontal lines (like an old CRT)

Hello!!!

I have a U2414H monitor from Dell, that shows horizontal lines like old CRT monitors, I changed cables (DirectPort - HDMI - Power), tested on another PC and laptop, same lines, run all tests and resets as Dell provided from their support, same problem. When I do the color test I see that the lines appear only when dark colors are present, like blue, black, purple, but if one of these colors appear to the screen even as a simple rectangle icon then the whole screen has those lines appear.

Any ideas on how to fix this or at least identify the faulty piece?

Dell U2718Q: Monitor won’t switch on. How to troubleshoot if PSU?

Switched on the monitor after a week away and was fine for about an hour. Heard a pop and it went black. Suspect it’s the PSU. I bought a replacement monitor since I needed to get back to work. Now that I’ve opened it up, the power supply board looks physically fine. Expect perhaps a blown cap or something. How would I go about checking if I should risk buying a replacement board off eBay etc.

Dell U2718Q: Signal keeps getting lost, wonder if replacing driver board would help

Ever since about a year after I bought this monitor (once the warranty expired), it has been very temperamental. Sometimes it refuses to see the HDMI or DP signal (it happens on both) for an hour or 2 (keeps telling me searching for signal and going into standby mode) and then suddenly starts working again.

The cables I use work perfectly fine with my 4k TV, so it's unlikely to be the cables. This issue also happens randomly with every computer, game console and devices I have (and those same devices work perfectly fine with my TV). At this point, I'm wondering if it's one of:

Driver board

Power supply

There's also some white/pink tinge that starts appearing on the side but it's usually after using it for a couple of hours. If I turn it off for a couple of days, this completely disappears.

I've recently noticed that it's not that hard to open and that the driver board is available for around 50 usd so I'm wondering if it might be worth trying to fix.

So to any experts, what could cause those random issues with finding signal? Is it usually due to the driver board? Would replacing it work?
