Dell Dimension 4700: No audio out of rear jack

Strange burnt electronic smell when I got up. Now the rear audio jack doesn’t work. Works fine on front jack. Computer says that nothing is installed in rear jack when it is? Do you think that the rear female jack port burned open? I can’t see any visual physical damage. thanks

I’m try to run The Movies and the UAC pop up asks me if I want to all this app from an unknown publisher make changes to my device, I click yes but then nothing happens. Please help me
