Challenge 10l dehumidifier: Why is my dehumidifier collecting water in the air filter not the draw

My dehumidifier has not been collecting water in the drawer. I have just taken the filter off to have a look and noticed water in the back. Is there anything I can do about this? I can’t find any blockages to the water to drawer.

It is the Challenge 10l dehumidifier MDDN-10DEN7-QA3

Dehumidifier: not kick off at a certain humidity % like 50% or 40%

hello there, i have a Hisence dehumidifier 32 pints and it doesn't shut off or should i say sucking air in. it goes to the lowest it possible can like 30% or 25%

% i think i remember seeing is it the pcb printed circuit board assembly? model number DH-35K1SLE5

Hi there, been running for a few weeks straight, has auto purge. Just went in, the machine is still making a noise, but the screen is dark and the fan is not running.

Tried pushing buttons, still nothing. Unplugged for a few hours, but acts the same when plugs in. Noise starts, but no display and no fan

Dehumidifier: Compressor only runs for 2 seconds

When I turn on the dehumidifier, fan starts and compressor seems to start (vibrates) and then turns off immediately. Fan continues to run. No water collection.

My De-Humidifier is flashing error code E1 and after a couple of hours of Continuous Operation there is only a splash of water in the bottom of the collecting Tank with the humidity display hardly moving from 55%.

According to the MEACO Instruction Manual

Fault : E1

Error Coil temperature error

Display Flashes every 30 seconds

What is happening Unit stills dehumidifies but in defrost

mode only.

As a start , I have replaced what I assumed to be the Humidity Sensor KB 5150 located on the front of the cooler as that seemed a logical start ....but it didn't restore the De-Humidifier to proper working order.

Any ideas please?

Westpointe MDC 45AE: off float lever that turns off machine when full is worn out

The machine (Westpointe MDC 65AE) is 16 years old and one end of the float shut-off as worn out causing it to detach. How do I get a replacement?

We have made sure the tank is empty, but the water full light will not go off and the unit will not turn on.

Water is leaking where the filter is is filling up what is wrong with I pour all the water out and turn it back on but it's still water getting into the filter

Westpointe MDC 45AE: How csn I attach a hose for continuous draining? Do I need a kit?

I bought a house that had the Westpointe MDC 45 AE dehumidifier in it and I’d like to attach it to a sump pump with a hose so that it can drain continuously. Do I need to purchase a special kit to do that or is there a simple way to do it with a hose?

hi all, i have a EcoAir DD1 CLASSIC MK5 Desiccant Dehumidifier that after a few minutes goes in a check mode then turns off. if i unplug it and then plug it back in it does the same thing.

i have narrowed it down to what i think is a thermistor.

there are two components that are screwed to the heating element casing

I think the larger one is a thermal switch and the smaller one is a thermistor??

if i unscrew the two components from the heating element casing the machine works fine and doesn’t cut out.

if i leave the thermal switch attached to the element and move the thermistor away the machine works fine and doesn’t cut out.

if i leave the thermistor attached the the element and move the thermal switch away the machine cuts out after a few minutes.

i think i will try and replace both components, i have found the thermal switch but there isn’t any numbers or codes on the thermistor , does anybody know which thermistor i would need to buy? if it even is a thermistor?

i dont believe the heating element is a fault as i think it would ether work or not work if it was faulty, am i correct in thinking that?

Also could anyone explain why the machine would cut out if it is a faulty thermistor that is the problem.

The little plastic piece on the side of the floater broke off. I'm thinking of gluing it back on but don't want to risk it falling off and having the dehumidifier continue to run even though the bucket is full.
