DeWalt DWD112: Trigger control won't work correctly after dropping drill

I've had my Dewalt DWD112 drill now for almost a year now with no problems. I've dropped this drill before and it's gone through a lot but the other day it fell not even 4 feet and now the trigger control is non responsive, and I have no idea what could have gone wrong or how to properly fix it. Any help on this would be awesome.

DeWalt DWD112: Dewalt DWD112 Brush Replacement

Hello, I went through the info on the DWD112 Brush replacement and I could not determine if the brush can be removed and a new one inserted or is that and entire assembly I must purchase. If an assembly do you have any info on P/N and where to purchase?

My drill is a DWD110K Type 2 but looks exactly like the 112 in your info. any response would be great as I really want to get this fixed.

DeWalt DWD112: My drill a DWD110K type 2 similar to the 112 will not run when the tri

Thanks for answering my last question but I want to be sure of the repair and parts but could the fact that my drill won’t start when pressing the trigger be the trigger as well as the brushes? Is there a test to determine if it’s the brushes or trigger or both?
