DeLonghi ESAM xxxx - (Different Types): Delonghi ESAM4200S stuck on red triangle when power on

Hello, I have a Delonghi ESAM4200s with the red triangle led that lights up and stays on when I switch on. (Sometimes, 1 cup and 2 cups leds are on too).

I used the test mode (press and hold 1 cup + steam and switch on), everything worked perfectly except the thermoblock. No led turns on when I pushed the « Rinse » button, it doesn't heat up. So I checked its resistance and it was good (38ohms). The thermofuses are good too. The thermosensor is good too (10kohms). I tried replacing the power supply board and nothing changed. I checked the all switches and all works fine.

Do you have any advice on what I should check?

DeLonghi Coffee Maker: My Delonghi EC260 is leaking water from under the water tank

Hi, my espresso machine is suddenly leaking water from the base, underneath the water tank. I descaled it & that didn’t help. There are no cracks in the tank and the seal looks good. But I have noticed that the plug inside gets pushed up…water going out…when I put it in the machine. I think it’s only supposed to do that when it’s running but don’t really know. I have to put towels down when I use it now, so water doesn’t go all over the counter. Help!

DeLonghi Coffee Maker: DeLonghi Magnifica: no water coming through

Hi everyone,

I got a DeLonghi Magnifica 2 months ago, used it for about 1 week, then emptied and cleaned the tray and left the machine for 6 weeks or so.

When I turn on the machine now, there is never any water coming through, neither upon start-up nor when I press a button. Instead, the water light starts blinking (the reservoir is full). According to the instructions, this indicates too fine a grind. I initially thought the grinder needs to be cleaned, but the machine does push ground coffee through into the tray whenever I press the button, and there is no water when I turn the machine on either, so it seems water-related to me.

Does anyone know what this could be? I thought I might need to descale the machine, but it seems like there is a separate light to indicate that, and since I only had the machine for 2 months and used it for only 1 week, that seems unlikely to me.

Thanks!

DeLonghi Coffee Maker: Delonghi EC820.B water runs thru diffuser w/o the sump but no coffee

Hi there, hope you can help!

I have a Delonghi EC820.B coffee machine.

All of a sudden, my machine has stopped working. Without the sump on, water runs out through the diffuser quite nicely. But whenever I put on the sump with a filter engaged (correctly), water only collects in the filter and doesn't pass through. This is the same whether there's coffee in the filter or not. When I remove the sump, the air pops and a little steam puffs out, suggesting there's good pressure in there. Coffee is wet through.

When switching on to feed water through, it's loud as normal for the first two seconds but then subdues to a quieter, duller hum than usual.

Something about this suggests pressure to me. I have cleaned all the parts I can reasonably get my hands on - the filters were working well, flow was good and then NOTHING, rather than progressively becoming more of a dribble so I figure that's unlikely to be the problem.

Reservoir is full. Steamer passes both water and steam. I have not changed the coffee I have been using all this time with success.

Any help would be warmly received - I'd rather make do and mend in this case!

Thanks in advance.
