<title><![CDATA[DJI Phantom 3: drone won't start and constantly beeps]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>I just got a new DJI Phantom 3 Standard a couple weeks ago. Today I tried to fly it (probably shouldn't have it was really windy) and on takeoff it got pulled into a tree. As it fell the battery fell out and hit the pavement. I put the battery back in, but now every time I start it it constantly beeps and the rotors twitch, but it won't let me fly. Please help me.</p>

<title><![CDATA[DJI Phantom 3: Controller battery won't charge]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>The battery in the controller won't accept a charge.  When I plug in the charger I can turn the controller on, but it won't charge, even when left plugged in for hours.  Also,  when plugged in and turned on, the red light next to the four white lights is illuminated.  I'm guessing the battery is bad.  How do I replace the battery?</p>

<title><![CDATA[DJI Phantom 3: Phantom 3 Professional crashed vertical down]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>I was flying with strong GPS signals in wide open grassland with no trees, building &amp; towers. Within 7 minutes of flight, the Phantom 3 started to spun 360 degree and with no control it crashed vertically down. The crash resulted to bad damage on the shell body, Gimble arm broke with camera ( although camera looks fine), landing gear crack and props got destroyed. The firmware V 1.2.6 was fully updated, compass calliberation, and home point was done as per routine procedure. Still, it crashed.</p>

<p>Can somebody advise me whether this is a manufacturing defect or Pilot error? Any idea is there a vendor who can repair?</p>

<title><![CDATA[DJI Phantom 3: Motherboard (ESC) has an short circuit between + and -]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>Hello:</p>

<p>My ESC mainboard (Phantom 3 Standard) has an short circuit. I can’t see any damaged component (looking with electronic microscope), but tester indicates 00 (total cotinuity) between + and - of battery power.</p>

<p>Oviously if battery inserted and try to power on, battery detects the short circuit, blinks some seconds and power off.</p>

<p>I unsolded component between VCC and GND, but short circuit continues and component seems good.</p>

<p>I can’t find scheme and I don’t know where to look.</p>

<p>Please, any help?.</p>

<title><![CDATA[DJI Phantom 3: Why is my range so poor?]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>I bought a Phantom a while back and it worked great. However, in the last few months I keep dropping control signal (video is still fine) and it performs an auto RTH. The problem has got worse recently - I can't go more than 30m without dropping out. There is a popup on the app saying 'Strong interference detected. Be careful when flying long distances', however I've flown it around the UK and everywhere has this issue - so its inside the drone or handset. How would I go about fixing this issue?</p>

<title><![CDATA[DJI Phantom 3: cannot start my phantom 3 standard anymore]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>when I was 2 ft of the ground to take off, one motor quit working causing the drone to crash but no physical damage was done.</p>

<p>Now nothing seems to work anymore, I can't start the unit, does not even make sounds or any led's are working, I did try another new battery but with the same results, I really wish it would start again, the unit is only 3 weeks old with about one hour of flight time on it.</p>

<p>If anyone knows what to do to get it working again, please respond, I would really appreciate it.</p>

<p>Hi everyone,</p>

<p>First time posting here. Needless to say I got into a crash while taking photos of my Phantom 3. Just my like, too, that I was taking photos of it flying for my Craigslist and LetGo listings.</p>

<p>Everything else on the drone seems completely fine, except for the camera which just kind of hangs there by its wire. Upon startup it does try to level itself, which I think is good, but I have no clue what to do next. In the photo above you can see how the circular bracket to the camera itself snapped open. I really don’t want to send this in for a $65-80 (or more) repair at DJI because I initially paid $550 for it two years ago with DJI Care. I’m just trying to get it off my hands with the most money possible. I didn’t use it as much as I thought I would.</p>

<p>My question is whether or not I can do anything to fix it or if anyone has any recommendations for my next steps. This is the only drone I’ve ever owned so I’m not sure how the market works on this model, so any help would be MUCH appeciated.</p>
