Creative: My old Creative Zen Stone seems charged, connected but won't power on

This is a longshot: I love my old Zen Stone (Plus, maybe). Haven't used it in years but want to. It connects to my PC fine, shows it is charging/charged but won't turn on, whether plugged into the computer or not. Any guesses as to what is wrong with it? Any way to fix it?

Creative Zen Microphoto: Screen is black - is the contrast set too high? Or is the screen bad?

I got two of these on eBay and they are personally owned players. Very nice condition with original headphones, pouch, and cable. They both have the same issue where the screen lights is just totally black and I can't read anything. The blue light lights up and the player can play music. The firmware is on the latest but I ran the firmware update tool hoping that it would reset settings but I still can't see anything.

If the screen is dead, it would be very odd to receive two nearly perfect condition devices with the exact same defect but maybe it's very common for these screens to just die.

Any tips appreciated! Thanks.

Creative Zen Vision M: Where do parts go?

Hi, I just found your site while looking for help with my creative Zen. I bought it a carboot and l am trying my luck refurbishing it by replacing the battery. All was going well but two rubber parts have fallen out and I haven't a clue as to where they belonged. I was wondering if you could help by sending me a picture of where they are supposed to go. (how do I attach a pic?).

Thanks for your time.

Creative Nomad Jukebox Zen: Creative ZEN TOUCH 2?

Does anyone know if, and how can I replace the battery and the hard-drive (maybe switch to flash memory?) on a zen touch 2? Every time I try searching for it, it always gives me results fro different zen models… It’s not listed even here, That’s why I had to chose a different model (can the admins add it to the device list? thank you).

It’s this one right here: https://www.cnet.com/reviews/creative-ze...

Surprisingly the battery still holds for 12-16 hours and the drive loads fine, but after almost 20 years, you never know when something will fail.
