Computer Speakers: Cambridge Soundworks Microworks speaker sound off and on

Stereo sound from both speakers and suddenly the sound drops from one speaker. Adjusting the volume control doesn't seem to get it back on; however, adjusting it while both speakers are working can stop sound on one speaker. It's always the same speaker side but not the speaker itself as I've switched them to test. Its not the wiring because I've tested that too.

Could it be bad 3.5 mm mini plugs? There are actually two audio jacks on the subwoofer and switching the speaker wire between them doesn't correct the situation.

I appreciate knowledgeable advice. Thank you.

Hello everyone,

I’m not good at repairing something without any problems many times, so I think it’s better to ask you professionals how to dismember HP Multimedia 2.0 Model U218, PN H3W58AA, thanks in advance.

By the way, yes I checked all those label and soft tapes under the speakers if they had any screws but no, unfortunately there’s no screws.

Computer Speakers: Harman Kardon soundsticks2 no sound just a blue light

Hi everyone here at the ifix it HQ..

As the titel of my question, my Harman Kardon soundsticks stopped working out of the blue?

Nothing bumped them ore water etc, it did happen once before but they came back to life?

Now power is working i get a blue light, i tried holding the both volume buttons holding them simultaneously and individually, nothing

Also tapping on the jack plug i hear nothing, i am guessing the main board has a issue, i live in spain ( ibiza) and the electro repair shop doesn’t fix them they told me spain doesn’t import parts anymore for this brand so they can’t get replacements?

Anyhow i will try and find a replacement board and do it my self but was wondering if any of you fine folks here maybe had some info about this ?

Thanks in advance

Have a good day!
