Router: My router doesn't turn on

Yesterday, I got a router from my ISP and it has not been switching on at all. At first glance, there were no signs of life. I eventually settled for opening the device, and heard a continuous clicking sound when the device was on. After closer inspection, there were two LEDs, each with a green and red light rapidly flashing. The router otherwise shows no signs of life, wifi does not work, and ethernet doesnt work either.

Can you help me?

Good morning from Scotland. I am an EE WiFi customer. Our WiFi has not been working for the last few days. The router has a green light that should be turquoise. I have followed EE's advice on their website, switch it on and off again and reset it. Still no interwebs.
