GameSir X5 Lite: GameSir X5 Lite - How to remove hidden front spine cover?

I am following the Action Button Replacement guide for the GameSir X5 Lite, but I've encountered a missing step. To fully disassemble the controller and remove the internal screws, I need to remove the plastic cover on the front side of the spine/extender.

I've tried prying it, but it's very difficult and I'm afraid of breaking the plastic or the internal clips. Does anyone have advice on the best prying point or a specific technique to safely remove this front cover? Photos of the clip locations would be extremely helpful.

Hello everyone,

I'm having an issue with my Logitech G29 (approximately 5 years old).

When I power it on, it does not perform the normal startup calibration (left → right → center). Instead, it immediately turns hard to the left (approximately -450°) and stops.

Here is what I have already tested:

The wheel is detected correctly in Windows (joy.cpl).
The wheel is detected correctly in Logitech G HUB.
The steering axis is centered correctly (50%) when the wheel is physically centered.
All buttons work normally.
I tested it on both PC (Forza Horizon) and PS4 (Gran Turismo 7), and the same issue occurs.
I tried different USB ports and different power outlets.
I reinstalled G HUB.
I downgraded G HUB to the March 2021 version and also tested the latest version.
The firmware is up to date.
The issue remains exactly the same.

There is no visible physical damage to the wheel.

Could this be caused by a faulty encoder wheel/position sensor, the force feedback motor, or the main PCB?

Has anyone experienced the same issue and successfully repaired it?

I am looking for replacement back buttons for my PDP Rematch Advanced controller (Model 049-023). My current buttons are broken, and I've already looked through the iFixit replacement guide, but I can't find where to buy the actual replacement parts.

Does anyone know where I can source these buttons, or is there a 3D printable file available for them? Are there any other controller models that use compatible back buttons?

The design of the slide switch to enable short trigger/rapid trigger pulls has a flaw in the design is that over time the physical stopper becomes a cantilever point. The point of stress is now put upon the hinge point and it will begin to stress crack and break if the user keeps pulling hard with the same amount of force that would be used when rapid trigger switch not engaged. Is there anyway to repair or replace the hinge?
