I have a Compaq Mini CQ60-600 and it was given to me about two years ago from a school program where i take a class and completed it that I could keep the l laptop. I never took the class and the laptop is still here but I can't do anything on it because of the family safety system. there is an tutor login but I can get in because I don't have the password is there a way to like master rest the computer or something. the program that gave the computers no long exist help me please I want to use my laptop.

Compaq Mini 110: Tells me to install a programe

My compaq mini 110 won't turn on properly, it gets to before the log on page and says that i need to install a Windows programe then it turns off but i'm not sure which one and where to get it from, i really need this fixed as i have all of my college work on there! :( PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Compaq Mini 110: Why won't windows start up?

My laptop starts up normal with the q and then goes to a screen that list different start up options (1.safe mode 2.safe mode with networking 3.safe mode with command prompt 4.last known good configuration (your most recent settings that worked) 5.start windows normally) I tried all of them. The first three just spam the screen with many lines of codes, flicks to a blue screen and restarts the computer. The last two go to the windows xp screen load about 2/3 of the way and then also flick to a blue screen and restart the computer. I asked my cousin and he said that him and his sister were having the same problem. Please help?

Compaq Mini 110: CMOS slw startup problem

I bought a Compaq Mini 110c-1111ev 1 year ago, & it had a very big problem with booting up the bios software when turning the notebook on, when you turn it on it stuck with Q logo, I went back to the store & they changed it to me, but they gave me another one with the same problem but it boots up after a long time, I went back but they refused to change it & direct me to the maintenance, & the maintenance dept. told me that it works great!!

3 times they said to me that till I left it, nowadays, I'm in need to use it back but when I turned it on I remembered it's problem & I want to fix it, I tried to flash the bios & update it after it boots to windows, but nothing happened, it still stuck on Q logo when I turn it on for a long time!!
