Keurig K55: Why is my Keurig Classic constantly turning off while brewing?

I put the Keurig brand K cup in, pull down the top, and press the brew button. It works for a split second then the machine turns off and I waste a K Cup. The K Cup just leaks into my cup and I have to remove it and try again because if I try and use the same K Cup it doesn’t taste right! It happens with numerous Keurig branded K Cups including Hot Chocolate, Cafe Caramel, and Cafe Vanilla. It’s been happening at least 3-4 times a week.

This is my third machine I’ve received from Keurig support and it’s still happening. I’ve done all the needle cleaning, reseting, descaling, and many other fixes. The unit is not even 3 months old.

I’m just at a loss of what to do because I don’t see many people having the same problem. I’m also sick and tired of wasting perfectly good K Cups! Anybody have ideas how to permanently fix this?

EDIT & SOLUTION: I've been able to resolve the issue using a work around. This is not a fix and I don't know why Keurig hasn't fixed it after years of this happening.

When using a milk based K Cup, press it into the bottom by hand so the K Cup is punctured. Pull it up and rotate 90º and close the lid. This gives the K Cup two holes and much less pressure. It has worked perfectly since I've been doing this.

Lattego 5500: Cold coffee not always work

I have my machine for about 2 years now. Everything works fine, except that sometimes the cold coffee does not work. The machine grinds the coffee, but when it starts to get the water to pour the coffee, it simply stops and cancels the operation. Usually trying again in a few minutes works, but sometimes it doesn't.

I cleaned everything inside already, but the problem persists.

Any ideas of what could be wrong?

This is a one year old coffee machine. The light on top is blinking red twice and pause then blink again two times like is in a code but can’t figure it out. Already tried to reset but it didn’t reset either.

Starbucks Barista: Pump does not turn off

After the machine is turned on and the steam is primed, the pump does not shut off and water streams out of the espresso nozzles. Pushing the brew button does not turn the pump off.

Nespresso CitiZ: Steam from handle and water in the inside container

All of the sudden my Citiz has started making trouble and I’m hoping to solve it myself with your help :)

When I’m brewing coffee the handle gets very hot and there is steam coming from the handle. Water is also getting out inside the machine and runs out into the internal container. When I use it with out a capsule there is no problem at all.

I’ve descaled it, but it didn’t solve the issue. I’ve also tried rinsing the inside of the part where the coffee runs trough with a toothbrush.

Can anyone help me troubleshoot this and maybe let me know, what spareparts I need to fix it. It would be a hugs help!

Jura: E8 won't power on after opening case

I was getting an error E6, and replaced the ceramic valve on my E8. Now the machine won't power up anymore. When I press the power switch, nothing happens at all. The 4 lines out of the power switch assembly are all connected. I can't see what I could have done to cause this. Any suggestions?

The brewing unit of our Melitta Caffeo Solo did not going back in.

I found mentions of the motor not being properly aligned.

The official FAQ states: The motor might not be in the correct position. Check if the water tank is filled and if the drip tray is in place. Turn the appliance OFF and then ON again. Then simultaneously press the button for My-Coffee and the on/off button for more than 2 seconds. The motor will move into the correct position. Insert the brewing unit again and check that it is correctly locked in position.

However, this proposed solution did not reset the motor position in my case.

I found that the locking handle of the brewing unit moves a metal lever.

This metal lever engages a button in the machine.

By carefully pressing this button (i used the handle of a small spoon), the motor reset to the correct position.

Long story short: I don't have a question, and just wanted to post this here for future reference.

I have a keurig combo coffee pot and cup maker. I filled the tank then pressed cup and it shut off. I did not have the water tank seated properly. I unplugged it overnight.

I believe my Hamilton Beach 12 cup coffee maker 49465R needs a new hose, but where do I get one? The company doesn't sell them, eBay doesn't have any, ifixit doesn't have any. Looking for advice on how to DIY a hose. Is the tubing similar from one coffee maker to another...in other words, could I buy a tube from say DeLonghi and cut it to fit?
