I dropped my coby kyros mid7048 tablet on carpet and the screen is now covered in black spots and black, white and colored lines. Is there any way I'd be able to fix it myself, bring it in somewhere to get it fixed or is it gone for good?

I forgot the password so I am locked out. I have tried numerous attempts holding power button, back button, volumne - button, power, volume, home button and I have reset it over and over but get no where except to the screen after coby and android logo's which is where you type your password. I have searched the internet but can't find any support what so ever. Any help you can give me I would be thankful
