So basically, after shutting down my laptop which was working perfectly in the night, when i tried to power on the laptop the next morning the screen was blank; the fan ran loudly with a orange blinking light. So far, i have took it to a shop and the following were tried:

  1. Using another laptops ram
    1. unplugging and plugging the cmos battery wire
  2. replacing one bios chip

It would really be a big help if you could help me out as i a student with uni classes starting soon and cannot afford a new laptop.

I have question previously and it was hinted that it may be a GPU, power-related or motherboard issue. I want to know where I can get it fixed and how much would it cost?

To open up my laptop nova from pcpsecialist, chassis is a CLEVO NH55af, I need the following items according to the manual:

  • M3 Philips-head screwdriver
  • M2.5 Philips-head screwdriver (magnetized)
  • Small flat-head screwdriver
  • Pair of needle-nose pliers
  • Anti-static wrist-strap

Is there any kit with all/almost these items?

If any of the items is missing, please tell me which one(s) and from where I could obtain them.
