Christmas tree: Pre lit Tree won’t light

I bought a prestrung Tree several years ago. After the second year most of it won’t light. It will light in very small sections. I’ve tried replacing fuses in plugs which didn’t work. The company never answers their phone. I’ve pretty much had it. We store the tree in a Tree bag in our outdoor storage closet. Any help will be appreciated.

Christmas tree: Strand works plugged into wall but not plugged into other strands

I have an incandescent pre-lit tree with multiple plugs within the tree that daisy-chain together. When each strand is plugged in individually to the wall, everything works; but when I plug them together there is one strand in the middle of the tree that does not work. I’ve used the Light Keeper Pro tool to check the voltage in the strand and it seems to check out throughout the whole stand even when the lights aren’t working. It doesn’t seem like this is an issue with the male portion of the plug since it works fine when plugged in elsewhere. Maybe there’s something wrong with the female portion that it’s getting plugged into? The strand on the other end of that plug works fine. None of the trouble-shooting lists seem to cover this.

Thank you!

Christmas tree: Pre-lit tree with remote not working

Tree worked but next day did not work. The power button on the remote is not working. I have taken it apart and its a programmable remote. I have a pen that detects power source, I took that to the chip and wiring and no power. The main plug has power going to the tree. Can I bypass the remote and have the lights stay on without the other programmable settings? Can I replace the remote?

Christmas tree: What’s the best way to repair solid glass ornaments and decorations?

My dear sister and brother-in-law sent a beautiful hand-made glass palm tree ornament with fronds and its own little string of Christmas lights. Due to a miscommunication between me and my darling spouse, it went crashing to the counter within a few minutes of being opened and several of the fronds have broken off. We were both so sad. I’d like to fix it and would prefer to use a precision torch and glass rather than glue to do it right. What’s the best approach with small-scale glassmaking or jewelry repair equipment to do this?

Christmas tree: Pre-lit tree one color won't light

I have a pre-lit LED Christmas tree that has several settings: white, multi-color, and cycle between white and multi-color. The multi-color lights up fine, but the white doesn’t come on, either when set to white, or when set to cycle, but all of the leds light up in color. Any ideas for a fix?

Christmas tree: Tree is half out, fuses ok but there is also a fusible link socket?

I have a 4 ft skinny woodland tree in my kitchen that is 7 years old, from Hobby Lobby. It did not turn on this year but I got the top half functioning using the Light Keeper Pro,. The bottom half does not work, and I noticed there appears to be a fusible link that has a burned out bulb in it. But there are also 2 functional fuses (i tested them) in the plug. Should I give up or keep trying with the lower half? My son thinks that burned out FL bulb means there is no repair that will work. I don't want to waste money if I don't need to…
