I am in the process of replacing a head that was warped pretty bad, so I purchased a new one. Does this look like it is sitting at TDC?

And would you be worried about the light marks on the camshaft lobes? Trying to figure out if I should return it.

Why does my turbo not work when I turn on the ac. I've been getting a p0299pd code and erase the code and turbo works again. I've changed all the sensors, except mass air. .replaced wastegate. I've adjusted the wastegate. Checked and have not vacuum leaks. New air filter and have good oil pressure.

I need help! I have a 2013 chevy Cruze and today out of nowhere in the middle of the day the front windows stopped working. When I press the buttons from the master power switch it does nothing. I don’t hear a motor or anything as others with similar issues did. I noticed that the window button for the passenger doesn’t work as well. When I try the back windows they worked, but only from the back door itself. I have no power or control from my driver or passenger side. So, I restarted the battery thinking that my car was just having a brain fart. It didn’t work. Then immediately I thought it was a fuse. I replaced the fuse for the front power windows, and it did nothing. I also noticed at the same time of this happening the radio will not turn off when I open the door, and the key is out of the ignition. This is the first time it’s done this. But I noticed it’s happening along with the window issue. Later that night i notice when I open the front doors it doesn’t trigger the light inside and turn on. Only when I open the back doors it seems to work. So, after hours and hours of research I feel like I’m getting nowhere. I am starting to come to the conclusion that there’s no power coming to the front two doors. If anyone can point me in the right direction. It would be much appreciated.

Hi,

I hope someone out there can help me, I purchased a 2015 Chevy Cruze LS 1.8 about a month ago. All was good until about 2 weeks ago, the car starts up and runs great, but that's when the big Mystery Problem started. OK I can drive the car all day long on the interstate, but when I come to a stop sign or red light, the car will start acting up. It'll have a rough idle and sometimes stops running, but it'll start right back up.

The Check Engine light came on and it showed 3 codes, P2270, PO171 and a PO131. I watched a few videos, so I decided to smoke the engine and smoke came out from around the valve cover. I got a new one and installed it and I also put 4 new AC Delco plugs in. I then cleared the codes and drove it around for about an hour with no problems and no light, Well I thought it was done.

My wife works for Door Dash and took it out the next morning and about an hour later she calls me and says the light is back on and so is the rough idle, she said it quit on her once at a red light. She brought it home and the same codes are back. I don't another smoke test and didn't see anything. The car does great the only time it acts up is when we have to stop.

Well what do you think could be the Mystery Problem? This is the only car we have right now and her door dashing is the only income we have right now cause I got laid off and the company I worked for is fighting my unemployment.

My husband rolled down his drivers side window this morning and it will not roll back up. It's a 2015 so shouldn't be an issue yet, but unfortunately it is. He can hear the motor for the window, but the window is stuck down in the door. Any tips/tricks on how to get it to come back up without having it replaced or taken to a shop?

I have a 2018 Chevy Cruze with a tail/brake/turn signal light problem, but only on the passenger side and only when the lights have been turned on. Everything works fine, both tail light signals indicate turn when engaged, and both brake lights function properly. However once the lighting system has turned on, (either automatically or manually) the passenger side light function works, but the turn signal and brake light no longer function. What would cause this to happen and how can I fix it? I am very good fixing things but this one has me stumped. I took the light off of the pigtail and tested the circuit. Everything traveling from the BCM is reading just as it should on my multimeter, and the harness on the bulb side has good continuity on all three wires. So again I am stumped on what to check next. If you have any suggestions I would like to hear them. Thanks.
