Casio WK-220: How do you replace the dc jack?

Found the keyboard on the curb next to a trash can. The dc jack where the power cord plugs in is broken. It is fully functional with batteries. Any advice replacing the dc jack?

So my Casio CT-600 Keyboard runs a DC 9V Powersupply. My friend accidentally connected it to a 220V Outlet (My keyboard needs only a 110V btw, so it has its own transformer.) After that the Keyboard didn’t work. I was planning to buy a replacement for my DC Power Supply, but before I do, I really need to know what’s broken. Can anyone please answer, I would really appriciate it. Thank you!

Casio PT-1: Wondering why Casio PT-1 suddenly stopped working (won’t power on).

I have had mine since originally buying it new in the 80s. It worked fine until just recently when it stopped powering up. Unit is clean in very good condition so a bit baffled why it stopped working suddenly. I do not have AC adaptor and am using batteries. The battery compartment is also clean. I expect it is a small easily fixable issue so am wondering if anyone has experience with this / similar models and may have suggestions what to check and how to fix it. Thank you in advance to anyone who may be able to help!

Casio WK-220: 8 keys in a row on my key board do not play sound..

It starts from the 8th key from the left…and continues 8 keys and then the rest play again…

Ive clean the board connector and rubber boot button..idk.. im new to keyboard i got it used…so…

Was hopen it was fixable…..

I actually found out the problem…..on my own…

On the control board the c120 circuit has burnt out…..

So… im looking next to figure out how to it replaced…

I’m not able to turn the keyboard on at all by pressing the power button, with either (brand new) batteries or the AC adapter. I haven’t used this keyboard in at least a year, but it was working fine before then. I took apart the front cover and looked at the circuit board, but I don’t really know what I’m doing. There’s little to no dust inside.

Hi have a Casio WK-220 electronic keyboard. I was using it one day and when I pressed a key it just turned off complicity. I thought the battery died so I got some fresh batteries and the something happened again. So i tried the ac adapter but it still unplayable. So I don't know if it's the keys problem or not. All my life I sighed, after the piano I left behind, when we had to change our residence. At the age of 60, I gave myself a present: a Casio piano PX160. I was very happy when I bought it. Exactly one month after the warranty expired, it broke. From the official Service they told me that it is an old model and they can no longer find parts. When I bought it, the sellers told me it was the last model. Who should I believe?

The symptom is very strange, I haven't found anything similar on the net.

A note sings by itself, without touching the key. After singing alone, the key becomes non-functional (it no longer makes any sound). The service changed the 3 boards with contacts under the keys. It cost me a quarter of the piano`s price. It lasted half a year and broke down again: the same symptom. And after another month, the key didn't work at all. That note is dead.

Maybe for many people $500 is not a big amount. For me it is huge.

Does anyone have any ideas?

P.S. I cleaned the contacts under the key. The simptom persisted.

Casio keyboard: Middle C is louder than all the others...

Hello, I have a Casio WK-3800 keyboard with a problem... I have it set at its default Grand Piano setting with no other options selected. It just plays as a regular piano. No options used. Problem: the MIDDLE C key produces a LOUDER volume than any other key. It's at least twice as loud as any other key. That is the only problem. Do you know of any reason (other than a defective keyboard) that would account for just one key, middle C, to produce a much louder tone than any other key? Do you know how I can resolve this or do you think it's defective and must be fixed? I appreciate your time.

My keyboard has no power when plugged in to the dc plug. I have taken the unit apart and have found nothing unusual on the circuit boards other then blackened grease where the on off switch runs. Any suggestions?

Casio keyboard: Why is my Casio CTK-2550 keyboard not turning on?

Around 12/21/20 was the last time my keyboard was functioning properly.

I don’t recall the last time I tried using it again, but whenever I did, I used the same outlet for my adapter, but for some reason, it wouldn’t power on

and I was confused why because

1. it doesn’t run on batteries

2. the outlet I was using for my adapter on 12/21/20 was perfectly fine (I know it was working cause it charged my phone and laptop)

3. the wire didn’t seem to be torn or damaged

I'm not sure if this has happened to anyone else but apparently, I’ve tried searching up the problem and there have been no results for me, at least for my specific brand.

I’d really appreciate it if someone sees this by chance because I’d really like to use my keyboard again so I can learn a song I like.

(Also, very random note, I cannot do such things that involve tools otherwise I’d get in trouble with my parents)

I plugged my Skullcandy headphones into the audio jack of my keyboard in which they fit without trouble, and yet the sound output is still stereo.

Casio CTK-3000: Static in right speaker and low volume in left speaker.

Hi. My father has a Casio CTK-3000 which he has owned for a few years. He turned it on today for th first time in several months and now there is static in the right speaker and low volume on the left speaker. We've tried connecting to an amp and the static is still there. We have even tried plugging it into a different outlet and still the same result. While it was not being used, it was covered.

Does anyone have any ideas what might be causing this. Thank you.

The power receiver is corroded and needs replacing. The adaptor/plug is fine but when plugged in, the power light briefly appears and then goes away. How to find a part and then replace it? I also can't insert the plug all the way. It dangles.

There's a group of 8 white keys and 5 black keys that play once, sustain and then no longer play at all until the keyboard is turned off and the problem repeats. Is this a problem you're familiar with and can fix?

Hello.

Got a long unused CTK-3000 for my kid.

Unfortunately, no sound when:

pressing the key, nor
trying to play any song from song bank

Beside of that everything works fine:

display shows pressed key/note
notes are displayed during song playback

Of course, I did check if volume is set properly ;)

There is no sound when connect headphones as well. (And nothing in the phone socket)

Is it worth chasing repair or costs will exceed value...?
