Casio keyboard: CDP S160 a few keys mysteriously triggering or stopping other keys

This repair is for a poor customer who's 15 year old lad is so desperate to get it fixed! Yes he confessed to spilling some gooey drink over it! - cleaned carefully first four octaves contacts and PCB board. re graphited the board in places. Cured a dozen keys, BUT C1 + F1# + E2 + C3 + G3# giving very mysterious triggers! ( and these notes well away from where the spillage occured). These five sometimes no sound, then sometimes they all work, BUT when they are all working , holding down C1 + F1# + E2 together - The C1 delays - then double triggered several times sometimes ( whilst all three are continuously held down!) When these 5 x keys decide to work, they all work fine when pressed individually !! How mad is that ??

I know rubber contacts must be okay, swapped them to working parts of keyboard - and the working parts still no problem. Examined all connectors - very few anyway,

motherboard no visual signs of damage or corrosion etc.

Can only think the channels from some keys are interfering with others (short circuit?).

Not knowing how the send signals from each note are clustered together - so hard to prove any short or crossover going on.

. I see some questions here others have had similar problems, - and as yet unresolved?

Casio CGP-700: I just got a used Casio CGP-700 and when I attempt to turn on the 40w

I just got a used Casio CGP-700 and when I attempt to turn on the 40w Stand speakers with the grand piano tone selected, the output is a whimpy soft harpsichord sound. It does appear that the wire that plugs into the bottom of the keyboard is frayed where it enters the horizontal speaker box that is part of the stand. Is there a way to separate the 4 wires at that juncture to insure that they are connected and not shorting out?

Casio keyboard: Why are some of the keys not sounding?

I have an old Casio CA-100 keyboard and some of the keys stoped working. I took it apart and made sure everything was clean, some keys were broken but not in a way for there to be no connection to the circuit board underneath. After looking at the circuit board, and testing out each individual direct connection to the membrane. I still can’t figure out why some of the sounds aren’t working. When you touch some of the connections the speaker will cackle confirming they are receiving power but no sound, others aren’t receiving power at all.

Casio WK-220: Keyboard not starting when power button pressed

Was working fine until a few days ago. Always had a loose connection problem near the dc input but that used to be fine and it used to work after moving the power supply a little bit here and there.

Verified that the power supply is not the problem by connect the 9v dc input from the battery end.

Now whenever I try to switch it on the lcd backlight comes on but the keyboard itself doesn’t start. As long a the power button is held down the backlight is on but on releasing it switches off immediately.

For a few days the backlight would stay on even when the power button would be released and sometimes the keyboard would actually start and then go back to a COD backlight only mode. Now even that doesn’t happen

Any help would be appreciated

Casio keyboard: G above middle C periodically playing loud and shrill

Out of the blue, the G above Middle C will everyone once in a while sound the same note at the loudest setting. I could be holding down the key and hear what I expect, a G note at the volume set. Within a few seconds of holding the note, another note will play much much louder. Sometimes that “overtone” will be one sustained note, sometimes a staccato like pattern, and other times just a one note. Always the same G and always much much louder. Disrupts playing and often very startling! Thanks for any help.
