hoover carpet cleaner,FH 50150, just stopped in the middle of cleaning. waited and waited, still won't start. Purchased new power switch fuse. Still will not work. Of course it's off of warranty by a few months. What can I do now, besides screaming!

McCulloch MC-1275 Heavy Duty Steam Cleaner: What is the purpose of this wiring connector?

This is a more general wiring question, as I've seen these kinds of connectors in other devices as well:

Three questions:

1. What is its purpose? On one side it's connected to the AC-in power cord, while the other side goes to the rest of the machine.

2. This connector seems to have had too much juice running through it -- one side burned and melted the plastic for some reason. Does it pose a fire hazard in its current state?

3. Would it be a bad idea if I just bypassed the burnt side entirely, and connected the wires together?

By this I mean, I have water in canister, the light

indicator is dormant and there is a current going

to steam canister.

I have no suction at the hose, but their is suction at the base gasket. I think it is clogged internally but don't know how to get inside the vacuum.

I was given a Model #9500 after a friend tore it down and could not put it back together. I have found the service center guide for the Model 9200 thru 9400 but it is not the exact same as the #9500. The difference is the flow gauge plumbing.

The fasteners look like an allen head with a pin in the middle. Looks like you would need an allen wrench with a tiny hole drilled in the middle of it. Any ideas what/where I could get a tool like this?

When the button is pressed steam is not coming out. I know that the machine is correctly heating to temperature and setam seeps in order to not over pressurize but not sure how to fix the problem

Carpet Cleaner: My hoover dual power max will only suck up water with upholstery tool

I have only had it for a year, usually works great. Recently got it out to clean the carpets and it wont suck up water. Thoroughly clean the unit and checked all hoses and filters to no avail. However, I put on the upholstery attachment and it works like a dream. But I cannot do all my carpet with that, it would take forever. Any ideas?

My machine will not stop spraying even though the push button is released. It will also not spray when using the upholstery tool. I've looked through the wiring diagrams and can only quess that it maybe the rocker switch. Do you have any knowledge on this?
