Hey, I have a vax rapid power carpet cleaning. The brushes are no longer spinning and I think it's due to the ball bearing seizing up. I can't figure out though how to open it up to change the ball bearing. Wondering if anyone has and guides on getting into the carpet cleaner.

I removed the tank and noticed that there was a plastic stem broken on the bottom that should be inserted into where the tubes begin. I ordered a new tank and it did not come with the plastic stem. So, it still doesn't work properly. I've looked for this piece where the tubes begin and I haven't had any luck finding anything. Please help.
