Hello.

I am thinking of tweaking Xiaomi Roidmi 2S a bit because it has rather low quality microphone build in. I'd like to solder a 3.5 jack socket and that way attach a small directional external mic.

But I don't know how to disassemble this device :)

Can anyone help?

A perfection would be to put it step by step on YT.

drawing.pdfOkay, we have a number of these old chargers lying around that have broken over the years. I decided to fix them all. So I went online and found the little connectors. Got 12 of them, figured I would make sure to have enough.... Oh, almost forgot, this is for Samsung Galaxy S4 and S5 phones.

Well, I can't seem to get any of them to work. I just finished trying for the 6th time.... I think there may be a wiring mistake I'm making, or else there is supposed to be a SMD resistor between pins 4 and 5 (at least 200 ohms?).

Can somebody help me out and tell me what I'm doing wrong? I always test after finishing, +5VDC between pin 1 and 4 or 5.... I've tried jumping pins 4 and 5 as well as wiring to each individually.... the phones charging indicator doesn't say it's charging, but the phone does recognize it being plugged in. When I was trying only pin 1 and 4, the phone indicated that a USB cable was plugged in...

I am waiting for this charger the next week and i would like to ask, can i leave it permanently connected even when i am not charging anything? Does this affect the charger? Secondly does it have overcharge and short circuit protection?

Car Charger: Micro-usb car charger doesn't charge cellphone

I have an unbranded car charger (not verizon's, but similar to this http://www.wirelessemporium.com/productp...)

If I plug it to my cigarette lighter, the LED light turn on. However, it can't charge my cellphone. I use my USB-to-MicroUSB cable and plug it to the extra USB port, and it failed too... I use the cable everyday to charge it (plug to wall charger), so I'm sure it's not the cable problem.

I used my multimeter to test the voltage across the USB cable (red and black wire), and it registered 5V. I can't get the actual amperage because my multimeter can only go up to 250mA, and when I tested it, the reading was over the scale.

Anybody know what's wrong and hw to fix it?

Anker Powe drive 2: Reversely connect and didn't work after that

I mistakenly while I was fixing the charger house in the car, I connected Anker power drive+2 reversely then I recognized that the connection is wrong .

I have corrected it but after that Anker power drive+2 did not work.

Any one can tell me how can I repair it, Please

Generic 1A USB Car Charger: Anker 24W dual port charger value of R13

Hi,

I took apart my charger to try and fix it. It had burned out. From the board it seems R13 burned. Can anyone find the value of this resistor, or let me know what you think is wrong from this photo.
