Canon PowerShot SX700 HS: Why can't I take video on the Canon PowerShot SX700 HS anymore?

My Canon PowerShot SX700 HS was working perfectly fine, but suddenly, in between filming short videos (30 sec - 4 min) on my camera (about 2 years old), it displayed a 0" written in orange font at the top right after I hit the red button to stop recording.

It was as if I was out of recording space, but I knew that wasn't the issue since I had JUST cleared the memory card so that all 64 GB was available (later double checked to confirm, and I was correct.) I even tried a different memory card with space, same problem.

The camera can still take photos and store those, but won't allow me to even record videos, let alone save them.

At the time it changed, I was indoors, full AC, so unlikely it overheated. I hardly even moved the camera, didn't mess with any settings... NO idea what could've happened. If this really is a logic board issue, then why can the camera take normal photos? Please help!

My Canon SX700 HS keeps saying “Lens Error camera will restart automatically” I've seen this is a common issue but most people have said their lens is stuck closed whereas mine is stuck open, how do I fix it?

I used to have no trouble sending photos to my smartphone using the camera's wifi. Recently this hasn't been working, with the the camera never getting beyond 'Start dedicated app on target device'. I've updated the Canon Camera Connect app, installed it on other devices and reset the camera's wifi settings but nothing has worked. Any suggestions as to what would be wrong?

Canon PowerShot SX700 HS: Pop up flash problems

I have two Canon SX 700 HS cameras. Each with a different flash problem.

On the first, the flash works, but the internal catch to hold it down is either broken or disconnected so it won't stay down.

On the second, the flash physically works in place, but the settings and flash don't function or flash.

I'd like to fix both, but if need be, use one to fix the other. Is there anywhere I can find schematic drawings of this camera so I can get into it without blind luck?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

When I try to record video the camera instead gives me a series of rapid beeps.

Battery is full, new memory card and I’ve not dropped it or anything.

Hey, my camera falled from my knees (it was not harsh)and it stop taking videos. I am able to take photos but when I try to film I am getting error09 and my camera turn off itself and does not record what I filmed, I already take out battery but it did not work

Hi!

My Canon sx730 camera was working very good until a few days ago when I took some pictures under the rain. Now, when I try to turn it on, in the display appears the icon "BUSY" and nothing happens. Then if I press the shot button it start working as nothing would happen. But in facts after a few pictures the battery drops and I must charge it again.

Maybe someone can give me some hints?

It's out of warranty so asking Canon would be a last resort.
