Canon PowerShot SX50 HS: Screen is black, shows menu and pictures I've taken

I am on a bicycle trip through South East Asia, in Thailand right now and I need 🙏🏼 my camera 🙏🏼.

My mobile isn't able to take good pictures 🙈.

I was on a trip through the Jungle took pictures... sometimes the lens needs awfully long to show a sharp picture or shows it for a moment and goes back to blurry when pushing the button. Changed battery and the screen turned black. If I try to take a photo nothing shows on the screen only the menu options and the pictures I have already taken are displayed.

I reset to default settings but nothing changed.

I am very happy and thankful 🙏🏼 for every help 😊.

Canon PowerShot SX50 HS: Camera functions have gone haywire

Press on/off lens dont move out, just the LCD screen lights up with a rolling clock displayed. 2. Then press shutter button and lens move out. 3. Lens will not zoom out until you press shutter button at same time, they will then zoom back in so long as camera lens are still focused.4. Menu and display buttons do not get any response but mode dial works. Camera still takes photos. This occured whilst editing and deleting photos, all functions were working perfectly untill then. Not been exposed to water, dropped once years ago and it survived that.

I have a Canon SX50 HS. The circular dial just above the Menu button is designed to be turned (revolved),… or pressed in one of the cardinal points (North, South, East or West). Mine will not ‘click’ when pressed down on the East side. Is there anything I can do?

Canon PowerShot SX50 HS: Camera got wet doesn't power up

I have a Canon SX50 HS or should I say I did have.

Stupidly, I left it out in the rain one night, got distracted by the kids.

Worked ok for a few weeks and then decided to give up the ghost.

Now it will not turn on.

I tried replacing the external battery, no luck.

I read on this site that cameras have an internal battery.

Does the Canon SX50 HS have an internal battery?

This happened a few months ago now and still doesn’t power up. So I suspect it will be dry inside now but some type of damage has been done.

Canon PowerShot SX50 HS: Camera is automatically taking 3 exposures for every shot

I normally shoot in Program mode, and I have somehow set my camera to take 3 exposures with every shot (it doesn't do this in automatic mode, but I prefer program mode). I don't know how I did this, but I've searched all the menus I can find, and have been unable to turn off this unwanted feature.

UPDATE: I downloaded the manual for the camera, and in about a half hour perusing it, learned how to turn this feature off.
