1) Be sure the ribbon cable from the LCD screen to the front of the camera is fully seated in the connector.

2) Before replacing the back cover, be sure the slide switch position is in the bottom position and so is the actuator on the back cover.

Canon PowerShot SD1100 IS: Why does my camera say memory card error even when I insert a new one?

I dropped my camera and was able to fix it and it was working good for the first day, then the next day it said memory card error. I went to the store and bought a new memory card and it worked for the first 5 hours, then i went to the store and bought another and it only worked for the first few hours again. Nothing was wrong with the camera and pictures but I cant seem to get a memory card to last longer then a few hours now. What do i need to fix?

Canon PowerShot SD1100 IS: How to move pictures in a file to my Powershot software

My computer was hacked. Before wiping it I put my pictures in a file and downloaded to a zip drive. After computer was clean, I reloaded my pictures,(now in their own file) and reinstalled the Canon software, assuming that the software would recognize the pictures and that they would merge. They did not. Now I have pictures in my computer, but I cannot figure out how to get them into Zoombrowser,so I can manipulate them. How can i do this?

Canon PowerShot SD1100 IS: Canon SD1100IS Won't focus

SD1100 IS just won't focus. Have tried reset to factory settings. Do you think it is something with the lens or circuit board? How does focusing work on one of these... does it physically move the lens? I have an old one that I can use for parts.

Thanks
