My Power Shot S2 IS just stopped working. Won't power on. Changed out the batteries with fresh AA, nothing. This happened a few years ago. Still wondering if I can fix myself without paying top dollar. This is an old camera, afraid I would be told that it is not worth fixing.

My Canon PowerShot S2 IS hasn’t been used for a while. I just put in new batteries, and it turned on, took one photo, and went black screen. I turned it off, turned it back on, and got a message saying to replace the batteries. I replaced them with another set of fresh batteries, and the same thing happened. How can I get my camera to work? It’;s too old for Canon to service it.

Orange 'on' light comes on, but the lens should push out when shutter button is pushed to the left. Sigh, nothing happens.

my camera is eating more battery . if i insert fully charged batteries then after 1 or 2 shots the battery gets over and it shows the low battery symbol and then the camera turn off . it’s eating too much battery

Canon PowerShot S2 IS: flash will not fire in proper position

When pulling up flash to use in photograph it does not function. The flash on screen icon does a steady on-off movement and the trigger will not take a photo.
