They told her that there’s no issue with the battery and it is probably an electrical problem. However, since the camera is old now, he won’t do the repair. I wanted to ask if anyone has experience in sending their Cameras to be repaired to individuals who are experienced in repairing older canon cameras (preferably somewhere in Europe)

The black locking lever is flipped up, but it feels like there is a physical blockage preventing the cable from entering the "mouth" of the connector. How is it actually meant to go in?
