It will not keep date and time. Have to set it everytime I turn it on and will just shut off sometimes

the camera is turning on but it shows me to set the date and i cant do that cause i cant click the buttons, when i turn the camera mode on i can see normaly, but when i try to take a picture it zooms instead of takimg the picture. Please help me i want to fix this camera

Canon PowerShot A520: Lens shutter has trouble opening.

When powering on the camera, the lens shutter only opens about half-way, gets a bit stuck, and then I have to help it open the rest of the way with the tip of my finger. Any way to make it spring open by itself? It does shut by itself when powering off the camera.
