My shutter on my camera stopped working, i disassembled the camera to try and fix it, while that fixed my lens problem, i didn’t know how to fix the shutter. I can get the shutter to work if i press really hard on it. thank you!

"Lens Error Will Shut Down Automaticly, Restarting"

The Lens is not moving a littile also. Just making a very little sound and giving error
My Camera wa sin the locker for 2 years. I did not turn on the camera for 2 years and it was safely placed in a locker. I Changed the battery and when i am trying to turn it on it is giving lens error.
I have tries with a peice of paper, air compresseror, shaking it a little bit...

MY camera is used at work and was just used and now all of a sudden when I plug it into my computer the computer is not acknowledging it at all. Won’t work on the other computer that uses it either. Don’t even get the sound that I normally get letting me know it’s connected

My canon Powershot a2300 has the ability to shoot video in 640x480 (SD) and also 1280x720 (HD,) but when I try filming in 1280x720 it says “memory card error”, or with a different memory card will shoot fine but say “Unidentified Image” when I try to watch the video. The memory card works fine on a different camera so it cannot be a faulty card. How do I fix this?

Tried almost all the suggestions on the Internet regarding a black LCD screen when wanting to take a photo. Tapping the camera on a desk while extending the lens would have it working for a day. The following day it would not work. Remembered an old HDD trick for failed drives. Place the camera in a plastic bag and put it in the fridge for a good few hours.

Removed it and placed it on top of the warm PSU of the PC for a few hours.

Switched on the camera. Worked 100 %.

Still working 3 weeks later. The contraction and expansion on the iris or whatever was causing the friction solved my issue.
