I got this camera second hand and after a while of use the zoom-in feature doesn’t work. Also, the buttons are very stiff, which means I can’t go through the pictures on the camera or change flash settings. Please help!!

Canon IXUS: Loose lens cover fix?

Camera has been gently used mostly stored away, but when I picked the camera back up, I noticed the lens cover is super loose now! Gravity or rotating the camera causes the lens cover to move all over the place, while the camera is on and off! It drives me crazy I’d rather remove the flimsy plastic covering the camera. HELP
