Canon EOS 70D: My 70D is showing no or low battery level on fully charged batteries.

I have two batteries both showing 100% on the battery charger. In the camera, I get a blinking battery level with one, and 2 bars with the other. I cleaned the contacts with alcohol. No luck.

Man sd card got stuck in the camera. When it got pulled out a little piece broke now it says the sd card is locked even though its not.

Canon EOS 70D: Display screen shows "white noise" image after taking picture

I hadn't used my Canon 70D in about a week. Then powered it up. Everything looked fine. When i pressed the shutter and took the picture nothing but a pixelated white image appeared on my display. I cleaned the sensor manually, checked the battery, All good. The same thing happens when I switch to video mode. I guess my question is, Do i need to replace the entire display as I've seen on a couple YT videos? Or is something else going on here? Thanks for any advice..

Hi,

When I take a photo on my 70d canon camera, it’s just a white screen. It’s not the display as I can look at old photos on camera. I have tried a different lens. I have re formatted the SD card. I have tried without flash. Does anyone have an suggestions before I send away?

this is the image I see (regardless if SD is in or not)

it is no longer there. Just a normal menu screen. I thought I had left the battery out, though I will try that for two days this time!

Canon 70d screen goes off even though it's set to disable automatic power off.

I have to press the Q button to be able to access or do other settings and when I press other buttons like the zoom in and zoom out button the screen goes off making difficult for me to set my camera.

I bought a camera that doesn't turn on in Japan at a very low price and was thinking of repairing it.There was no response when I received the camera and replaced it with a new battery.And when I put in a new sd card (Sandisk Extreme sd card 64gb), it started working.I used it well after that, but it suddenly stopped working again.Remove the battery and sd card, wait for about a day, and then operate it again.But this doesn't last long either.It's almost a new camera with fewer than 10,000 shutters.What is the problem?

The scroll wheel on my Canon 70D acts up almost every time I use it. I've resorted to only using the arrow pad, but I'd rather have the scroll wheel working. Are there parts available to purchase in order to replace this wheel or the mechanism that reads its inputs?

Clarification: The wheel that I am talking about is the one operated by the user's right thumb. It is located just to the right of the touchscreen.

I have tried to change both the CCD sensor(new sensor and the sensor cable) and mother board but it still had the same result, really don’t understand, why….

Camera (70D) wasn’t turning on, noticed the battery micro switch wasn’t there. I haven't opened the camera yet, but I can see that the battery switch is not in place. I saw several threads that people this switch just fell off. My question is, if I just put the pads together instead of this switch, will it work? Do you have to buy the entire board with this switch, aliexpress there is a lot of it

My Canon EOS 70D has a dim optical viewfinder. It is so dim that the exposure metering in the viewfinder overexposes by nearly three stops. I can compensate with exposure compensation, but the optical viewfinder is still dim. I would rather fix the problem than patch it over.

I have reset all of the camera’s settings and updated to the 1.1.3 firmware. The battery is fresh.

Nothing in the optical viewfinder looks or sounds loose. Both mirrors in the mirror box are present and unobstructed—nothing there looks or sounds loose. The focusing screen looks correct and properly seated. Nothing looks out of place when looking through the optical viewfinder to compose a shot.

Each metering mode produces the same overexposure.

Live View works fine. The same lens, with the same focusing distance and the same aperture produces correctly exposed images. There does not appear to be any problem with the lens. There does not appear to be any problem with the main sensor.

It looks like the problem is entirely inside the optical viewfinder.

I am wondering whether a focusing screen from another model of camera could have been put inside, since only the focusing screen and the mirrors affect how much light gets bounced up into the viewfinder.

i wrongly tried to clean my focusing screen and now i have a scratched screen. can i repair this or have i got to replace it. if the later what is the part code and how do i get it out of the camera.
