Canon EOS 60D: Can I disassemble my 60D to clean the sensor and reassemble myself?

Hi, I have a really huge fungus section on my sensor and have already tried cleaning it in the service centre. But failed to get rid of the fungus completely. It keeps coming back. I don't really trust the service centre guys.. so I thought I would clean it by disassembling my EOS 60 d at home and clean the sensor myself. I have been watching a lot of videos and it seems not really a tough job.

Can anyone please help me with a step by step assembly manual or steps to follow, which will help me disassembling and reassembling my camera without any problems??

Canon EOS 60D: Soldering battery door latch switch?

In short, what do i need to re-solder the battery door latch switch?

A few days ago my canon 60d suddenly stopped working, it turned on once after i waited a while but the screen glitched out and it died and wouldn’t turn on since then. I was filming in the heat on the beach constantly in the sun. I was trying to find a fix for my dead camera and some people said i should push the tiny switch that is under the battery door so i did, i tried that a few times, no luck with switching on the camera and i was thinking i’m doing something wrong and then tried it again and it went to one side and then broke off.

Now i disassembled it and found the switch, so now i want to solder it back in the right place and i want to know what tools do i need (Heat gun, solder with a tiny tip) or some kind of paste.

P.S. If you know, please tell me the reason why my camera suddenly died. Could it have been from overheating, because i didn’t turn it off, it was in the sun and the battery was empty.

The Switch:

The spot where it was:

Canon EOS 60D: Canon 60D won't turn on?

I have a canon 60d that is about a year old. About 2 months ago it just completely "died", used it one day, put it back in my camera bag, went to use it the next day and it appeared dead, even though I just placed a fully charged battery in there. Tried different batteries, battery pack with double A batteries, nothing. It doesn't flash any lights, doesn't make any noise or shown any signs of life when switched on.

Any idea on what it could be?

I'd hate to spend $400 or whatever it may be, to be sent ti canon to repair it when the body itself is really worth less than that. I'm just feeling as if I might as well invest that $400 into a new body.

And yes I have tried the switches on both the battery compartment and memory card compartment, nothing at all.

Canon EOS 60D: Canon EOS60D USB Interface Board Replacement.

My Canon EOS60D was on a tripod with USB cable in place. Tripod was knocked over and camera landed on the Port side, meaning that the USB plug hit the floor first. Since then the USB connection has not worked although all other camera functions are fine including HDMI interface and remote trigger.

Is it possible to replace the USB interface board and if so, how? I’ve looked at your guides and none go as far as accessing the USB board.

Thanks in advance

Canon EOS 60D: Canon 60D blueprint/guide on building the chips and motherboard?

I tried to fix a stuck shutter button, and used a contact lenses cleaner liquid to pour in it according to a recommendation online...Well, that was a bad idea, now my camera doesn't work at all. It won't turn on. I'm guessing the chip or whatever it's called, got shorted. What I'm asking is where can I view the blueprint and find the name of each chips (or board, or whatever you call it inside the camera) so I can order the correct parts I need. I know that it's not recommended that I take apart my camera, but I've done that multiple of times. It's just expensive to send in my camera for diagnosis and repair.

I've tried to find it by googling but I'm totally out of luck!

Any help will be greatly appreciated!
