Canon EOS 5D: 5D freezes in a short time after powering on

Hi there,

I'm having an issue with my 5D Classic: the camera powers on and 'functions' for about 20 seconds, but then it freezes, leading me to switch off the camera and re-insert the battery for it to power on again. Sometimes it functions for ~20 seconds, sometimes it does not power on at all, and still at other times it functions for a few seconds before freezing. When I try to take a photo, the camera inc. the lens freezes every time; the shutter shuts, gets stuck, and does not open again until I re-insert the battery (then it 'snaps' open).

Any leads as to what the issue might be here?

I appreciate your input.

Canon EOS 5D: Error cf after water getting in (foged lcd and viewfinder)

I was on the road taking shots and suddenly started pouring really bad. Got home camera was soaked, humidity started forming inside the viewfinder and the top lcd. Removed alla batteries and the cf card and let it dry on a radiator. It was still working at that point but in the nexr morning after it had dried up it was acting all crazy back lcd wouldn't turn on etc. So I let it dry more currently it is fully functional until I get a cf card inside. As long as I do that it looks like it's freezing for a few seconds and then says cf err on the top lcd and the shutter won't fire. Tried multiple cfs formated them etc still the same. No bent pins or anything. So should I replace the whole cf slot? Is it a pcd that reads the cf slot that may have short circuited? Any tips would be much appreciated!!

Canon EOS 5D: camera shoots but most buttons not working, Rear LCD screen no longer

I got this 5D from the E-Recycling bin in a camera shop, it had a corroded Date/Time battery so i thought maybe cleaning it out and replacing the battery might fix it. initially the camera seemed to work. The camera would turn on but whenever I did any one thing it would freeze up. For example, I could turn it on and take a picture then it would freeze, or I could turn it on and navigate the menu to change a setting, then it would freeze. I left the camera alone for about a year and then charged the battery just to see if I could do more troubleshooting. Now the camera will power on and shoot as much as I want as far as I can tell, but only a few functions actually work. Currently the shutter button works, the rear control wheel and front control wheel work and the top LCD backlight button works, nothing else seems to respond. I suspect something near the date/time battery is also corroded but was wondering if anyone has seen this before and has any tips before I go digging around with my limited electronics repair experience.

Canon EOS 5D: My LCD display not working.

My LCD display is not displaying and the camera not able to take any photo. When you try to shoot a photo it doesn't appear the red dots to focus. The camera also has the red and blue light on, as soon you put batery on. I read it might be a CF card problem and printing , format card nothing happens, Tried the technique of remove lens, remove card and batery, didn't work for me. The camera was warmer than normal in the display area. Open the camera and seems that is the the main PCB under the display that is getting hot not the display ,can you help please? I am guessing that is the PCB that is faulty.

Canon EOS 5D: Camera Screen Playback Fault

When taking a picture on my camera the playback image on the screen is faulty. I can see the menu fine and when I upload the images to my laptop they come out fine but when I flick through them on my camera they're almost like a pixelated negative where the faces just look like blobs.
