My 200D mark ii camera, I have drop 50-80 drop of water by accidentally on my camera and after this incident it's not working at all not opening, display doesn't showing anything, totally shutdown....I have checked full battery battery is totally ok, I checked the repair centre and they are saying it's a huge problem...I have to paid them ₹10000 rupees, so I have no other option, can your website help me to solve this ?🙏

Went back home after shooting some photos - won't turn on. Charged battery, checked contact, all of the things people have said in older posts, won't turn on. I've barely had the camera for 3 days and it's already gone. I haven't dropped it at all - I've been protecting it like my eyes and it hasn't gotten a SINGLE scratch. Any help or the only way is returning it for a new one? Thanks from advance!

Canon EOS 2000D: Battery cover switch is broken

I bought a rebel T7, and found that the switch for the battery compartment door is gone. Can't even press it with a screw driver.

I'm looking all over for schematics, to see if I can open it up and replace the switch.

Does anyone have them, or know where I can track them down?

Hi I got a cannon eos rebel t7 that display won’t turn off when it is switch off. The only way to turn the display off is to remove the battery. Anyone have any idea whats wrong and how to fix it?

Canon EOS 2000D: Mode selector won't set camera to automatic modes

Recently my camera won't go in to the automatic modes anymore. The manual modes, night portrait and the movie mode are working fine.

The automatic modes are consistently in the wrong manual mode, below a list of how it is at the moment:

Scene Intelligent Auto -> P
Flash Off -> Tv
Creative Auto -> Av
Portrait -> M
Landscape -> P
Close-up -> P
Sports -> Movie
Food -> Night Portrait
Night Portrait -> Night Portrait
Movie -> Movie

I have reinstalled the firmware, tried another battery, another SD-card and another lens (also without a lens). Nothing seems to work. I'm a bit hesitant to sent it off to Canon for a repair, since it's only the automatic modes and it is not a very high end camera.

Open to ideas!

There is an error on my screen when I try to capture a photo or video. The error message is;

Err 20

An error prevented shooting. Turn the camera off and on again or re-install the battery.

I tried to do suggested option on the screen but the error still persist.
