Canon EOS 7D: Camera gets Err 30 message. How do I fix it?

I get an Err 30 while taking photos. I can shoot 100 or more photos, then Err 30 starts popping up every few tries. I take out the battery, replace it and restart. Usually camera will work for 10-100 more photos.

Canon EOS 60D: HELP! Error Code 70

I keep receiving an error 70 code when I try taking photos. I turned the camera off and back on, but after several photos the error showed up again. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Canon EOS 7D: won't turn on even though battery charged

Hi,

Our Canon EOS 7D is about 6 months old. Can't get it to switch on - have fully charged the battery but it just flashes empty. Bought a second battery a couple of days ago and same thing. The CF door closed and the battery door closed, tried taking out the clock battery and resting for a few minutes, still nothing. tried with lens on and off, still nothing.

Any ideas?

Canon EOS 6D: How to clean 8-way controller?

Down-direction of the 8-way controller in my 6D does not work anymore. It's behaviour has been degrading slowly so the problem could be some kind of dirt between the contacts. Is there a way to clean it without opening whole back cover? If the back cover has to be opened using the guides here is there a way to actually access the contacts of the 8-way controller and still be able to put everything back together?

After about six months my T2i flash quit popping up. The camera makes a clicking sound and then gives me a 05 Error saying that the camera should be turned off and back on but it has never reactivated.

Canon EOS 40D: My 40D suddenly will not turn on

My 40D was working fine. I did not use it for several days and when I went to use it, it does nothing. No lights, not screens, nothing. Its as if its not turned on. I have checked all the switches in the battery door, replaced the 3v lithium internal battery. I've checked the switches in the card door. I've tried new batteries and new cards. Fully charged multiple batteries using multiple chargers. I've tried it with and without a lens, still it does nothing at all. No lights no displays of any kind. Its as if it just will not power on at all. Canon no longer repairs the 40D and there are no repair shops anywhere near me. The camera just suddenly went dead and does nothing..??

i have canon 60d and it tell me card write protected error when i insert a carrd into it. i have tried 4 cards already and its not the card lock issue. the same card works in other camera. i read in forums its issue with card reader in 60D. would like to if there is any known fixes for this?

Canon EOS Digital Rebel (300D): rubberized coverings on body have become "sticky"

My original EOS Rebel whose rubberized coverings have become "sticky".

Its so bad that it if I try to use it - it sticks to my hands and leaves a black deposit when I let go. Also on my BGE1 battery grip.

Have you seen this problem and can it be repaired?

Canon told me to go away or buy a new rebel..

Hi, I have a really huge fungus section on my sensor and have already tried cleaning it in the service centre. But failed to get rid of the fungus completely. It keeps coming back. I don't really trust the service centre guys.. so I thought I would clean it by disassembling my EOS 60 d at home and clean the sensor myself. I have been watching a lot of videos and it seems not really a tough job.

Can anyone please help me with a step by step assembly manual or steps to follow, which will help me disassembling and reassembling my camera without any problems??

I've had my Canon T2i for less than a year now. Recently, I've gotten an error 80 message. I've gone through all the "suggested repairs" without any luck. I can't take any photos, and when the camera does turn on and I attempt a photo, it will quickly turn off and give me the error message. HELP!
